Cleaning Your Home After The Move-In

A cleaning checklist is essential when you want to clean your house after the move-in.  This will ensure that you clean each and every thing and place and according to priority.

Appliances need a heavy duty cleaner, such as paste or wax. Don’t forget to use heavy duty cloth and washing soda for extensive deep move in cleaning. A brush can also be used as long as it does not scratch the surface.

Kitchen cabinets and counters will require a mild cleaner and most of all, a soft cloth, especially if they are lined and painted. Thorough cleaning on the surface and inside should be done.

Sinks will require a chlorine-free bleach for cleaning together with spray bottle then thoroughly rinsing with a lot of clean water. Finally the windows, walls and floors will come in last as they will take most of your time. Stubborn stains on walls and floors will require tough stain removing cleaners and a good disinfectant to clear off germs.

Having done all these, you are now ready to unpack.
